The person we are looking for

We are now looking for a Product Manager for our New Zealand operations, based in Christchurch.

The Product Manager is the bridge between business and technology, combining strategy, marketing, and IT skills with the goal of launching an amazing product.

You have experience in business development, quality assurance or another technical role in IT. You are a good communicator and have experience with international contacts. You have an interest in IT and like to work with the newest technologies. You are confident, outgoing and happy to share your ideas with the team. You have previously worked with an ERP or CRM application and have basic accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and industry research to keep up with industry developments
  • App Store Optimisation for our own products on the App Stores
  • Work with Programmers and Development Managers to create a software application that is successful in your market
  • Translate the software into the local language
  • Ensure the software complies with local legislation and business practices
  • Provide support, training and consulting services to local customers and partners
  • Conduct quality assurance (testing)
  • Write specifications for necessary modifications
  • Be the main point of contact for all product-related issues
  • Maintain downloadable program versions online

Requirements

  • Native level English language skills
  • Bachelors degree in IT or Economics
  • 2–5 years working experience in IT, preferably with ERP or CRM applications
  • Experience in a fast paced office environment
  • Basic accounting knowledge

The Executive Assistant (EA) works closely with the General Manager to provide administrative and organisational support. The EA helps the Manager make the best use of his time by dealing with secretarial, administrative and private tasks. The EA must be reliable and able to work flexible hours; understanding the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.

Your role will be to provide a high level of support to the Managing Director such as managing schedules, correspondence and paperwork, expense control, and handling internal and external enquiries.

To be successful in securing this role, you will be a genuine team player and have the proven ability to multi-task and prioritise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending Management and Board meetings and writing minutes.
  • Managing business schedules and making appointments.
  • Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • Organising and attending meetings, and ensuring the manager is well-prepared for meetings.
  • Handling a wide range of information requests.
  • Collecting information for reports.
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
  • Handling confidential information.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation and traveling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings and to provide general assistance during travel.

Additional duties may include:

  • Carrying out specific projects and research.
  • Responsibility for accounts and budgets.
  • Taking on some of the manager's responsibilities and working more closely with management.

A Group Finance Manager works closely with Operations and the Board of Directors to ensure the financial health and growth of HansaWorld group.

Your responsibility will be to produce financial reports, direct investment activities and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of the company. At the same time, you will be responsible for making sure that the liquidity of the group is high enough to pay upcoming financial obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor every aspect of the company’s finances
  • Submit internal reports to Operations and the Board
  • Provide financial analysis
  • Develop strategies for short and long term financial goals of the group
  • Proactively seek and drive positive change
  • Evaluate international financial reporting packages to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Communicate with auditors of the Mother Company
  • Ensure that all financial activity complies with local and international regulations
  • Lead and motivate the Finance team

Requirements

  • University diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • At least 2 years of relevant corporate finance experience in an international company
  • Experience with group consolidation and annual financial statements of an international company
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge and interest in global economics
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Professional qualifications preferred
  • Ready to travel internationally
