Sapa Profili SIA – sales of aluminium profiles, Latvia

The Company


The Sapa Group (www.sapagroup.com) is one of the leading companies in the world developing, manufacturing and marketing value added profiles, profile-based building systems and heat exchanger strips in the light-weight material aluminium. The first profile was made in 1963 in Sweden. Today the Group's business concept is built on close cooperation with customers in Europe, North America, Central America and Asia.

SIA “Sapa Profili” is the Group's local representative in Latvia, operating since 2004. In January 2007 the company opened a new warehouse with more than 200 profile types.

Choosing a new system


Sapa Profili SIA started to look for a new business management system at the end of 2006, before opening the new warehouse. The requirement for a new system was being able to work according to European logistics principles and having the necessary control over the movement of items.

Implementing HansaWorld Express


The new system was implemented in several stages: first all functions concerning goods movement and liquidity management, later budgets and CRM. The implementation was carried out by HansaWorld's business partner Bakkers Business Solutions.
