Oracle and HansaWorld have launched IT solutions in Latvia
Riga, 9 September, LETA.Business solutions provider SIA HansaWorld Latvia and IT product supplier Oracle is going to offer ERP, CRM, tools for business analysis and databases for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB), as it was announced today at a press conference by the management of both companies.
It was indicated by Edmunds Sprūdžs, HansaWorld Regional Manager Easter Europe, that world-level business analysis tools and databases now will be available to many Latvian businesses.
However, Guntis Kalniņš, Oracle manager of the Latvian branch, emphasized that entrepreneurs should look for the best business solutions in order to be more competitive during tough market conditions.
By using the existing HansaWorld software solutions, HansaWorld integrated ERP and CRM solutions and Oracle databases and BI technology shall be combined all in one.
E. Sprūdžs also pointed out that although it is not long ago when HansaWorld and Oracle announced about mutual partnership, yet both companies have been cooperating in the field of technologies for a long time.
“We initiated this cooperation because great customer interest could be felt regarding powerful solutions for business management. Our company has ambitious growth objectives, and cooperation with Oracle will help us to implement them,” explained E. Sprūdžs.
HansaWorld as an IT solution developer holds stable positions in the SMB segment. “By initiating the cooperation we will strengthen our positions also as a business IT solution supplier for larger, fast-growing companies,” continues E. Sprūdžs.
So far Oracle and HansaWorld customer basis has differed quite significantly, since Oracle deals with the largest international and also Latvian companies and governmental institutions. But HansaWorld holds strong positions specifically in the small and medium-sized business sector in the Baltic region.
Mind that HansaWorld solutions are available in a wide range of operational fields like production, hotel, restaurant management, retail and wholesale, logistics, service management and others.
“By combining Oracle and HansaWorld solutions Latvian entrepreneurs will have world-level business management IT solutions available,” regards E. Sprūdžs. This combined solution has several advantages in the SMB segment. Both services and price will be more affordable. An agreement has been made with Swedbank Lizings to purchase the solution on lease, which is crucial for SMBs.
Since this particular solution may be implemented as a standard, then implementation can be carried out in a shorter period of time, while implementation of other systems can take several years, requiring lots of time and energy which a growing company could otherwise use elsewhere.
As reported previously, turnover of HansaWorld Latvia increased by 73.4 % in 2007, thus reaching LVL 909 491, according to Lursoft data. In 2006 the company’s turnover was LVL 524 446.
