HansaWorld: software can not be too simple
International business software producer HansaWorld has introduced an update of its integrated ERP software solution. The version 5.3 focuses on providing companies with easy to use features for automating their daily processes.According to HansaWorld's Managing Director, Karl Bohlin, the art of developing useful and usable software lies in adding innovative features, while not confusing the user.
"In this version we have put much effort into services that cut manual work. Sending your VAT Declaration electronically in seconds, receiving exchange rates into the system at a keystroke or automatically looking up the addresses of your contacts - these are but examples of simple but powerful possibilities we offer our customers for saving time and increasing efficiency," says Bohlin.
Examples of other news in the HansaWorld version update include improved liquidity planning and sales forecasting. In addition to more traditional business management features Karl Bohlin points out SmartApps - mobile data collection software for handling information on the move. SmartApps can be used both on mobile and desktop clients for collecting or accessing any kind of info whenever and wherever it is created. SmartApps can be run on Nokia E90 mobile phone and Mac, Windows or Linux.
