HansaWorld announces launch of Google Chrome OS version
LONDON, 15 June 2011 - HansaWorld, a multi award-winning provider of Integrated Business Platforms and mobile solutions, continues its strategy of supporting all major modern operating systems by announcing the launch of a Google Chrome OS version - to coincide with the launch by Acer and Samsung of new Chromebooks.
Enterprise by HansaWorld is an Integrated Business Platform, covering a wide range of applications from accounts, order processing and stock (ERP), through Customer Relationship Management tools such as to do management, workflow, email and graphical scheduling, to vertical market solutions - all delivered in a single, interactive application. The web client that will run on Google Chrome can be mixed with other browser versions and native clients for Windows, Mac and Linux, and versions that run on Apple iOS and Google Android mobile devices. "We aim to give our customers choice, as different operating systems and hardware deliver different benefits to customers" explains Stephen Jay, International Sales Director for HansaWorld. He continued "Back office users creating a full graphical schedule using drag and drop may well prefer a native client, while warehouse users will want to use handhelds with barcode readers. Chromebooks offer users a cost effective entry point for users that travel frequently and work primarily in browsers, and so this is a natural extension for us."
Enterprise ships with interactive telephony, so users can communicate directly with their customers and suppliers using various forms of Voice over IP - including Skype, SIP (Asterisk) and TAPI.
Enterprise is available as a hosted solution, or on-premise.
