HansaWorld third at Nokia smartphone competition
Enterprise by HansaWorld received third place in the Enterprise category of the Nokia S60 3rd Edition Challenge. The awards were announced on Monday at the Smartphone Show in London."We created the mobile version of Enterprise by HansaWorld to give business software users more freedom and allow them to be more productive in their work. I am glad that cooperation with Nokia has helped speed up this process and develop a solution you can work with just as you would using a desktop or laptop computer," Karl Bohlin, MD of HansaWorld, commented.
International business software developer HansaWorld entered the competition with a mobile version of its integrated ERP/CRM package Enterprise. Available on Nokia Series 80 and S60 business phones, the software provides real-time access to all parts of the suite, not only for viewing, but also for adding and updating information.
Launched in December, 2005, the S60 3rd Edition Challenge was designed to drive development of innovative new applications for the S60 3rd Edition, based on the Symbian OS. The competition comprised four categories: enterprise, music, Adobe Flash Lite and location-based applications.
