Business just got serious on the iPhone
HansaWorld is releasing today clients for their product ranges, Books and Enterprise, on the iPhone and iPod Touch. The technology is based on full native clients, avoiding cumbersome use of Web2. Full speed usage is possible even with the slowest of cellular connections, greatly improving the mobility of your business. The clients are role based, enabling you to perform tasks within a set workflow directly on your iPhone. HansaWorld plans a roll-out of many different roles over the forthcoming year.
The first roles to be released are:
1. A Point of Sales client - this enables queue busting: shop floor staff can make sales on the iPhone device, and print invoices to networked printers
2. A client for full reporting on any part of your HansaWorld system - you can run real-time enquiries on your iPhone, from anywhere where you can get a network.
The Point of Sales client will be sold for an introductory price of $99 at MacWorld booth #3928 and the Reporting client will be offered for free. Offer valid until 1 March 2009.
HansaWorld is actively recruiting partners for Enterprise and Books in North America, particularly from within the Apple channel, to add to the dozen partners already in place.
