5.4 update notes for HansaWorld Enterprise
As of mid-August Enterprise by HansaWorld 5.4 test version is available. Here HansaWorld Latvia gives a summary of changes in the latest version.Improved data security
Many updates have been introduced in the new version thus improving data security and backups. Journaling functionality should be emphasized in the first turn – a safety mechanism which is especially noteworthy in the event of emergencies. This helps to reduce risk of data loss to 0.01 % in case of unexpected shutdowns because this feature maintains continuous record of changes to files.
Improved speed
This version has improved multiprocessor performance that allows the system to process data in a shorter time. Also Maintenance function is high-speed that from now on will allow faster mass data processing helpful when, for example, issuing outstanding number of invoices.
Improvements in stock accounting
Enterprise/Express Version 5.4 includes also improvements in stock accounting with increased number of item variations that leads to broader definitions per colour, size and other parameters. Stock functionality now has more reports that will help to get an overview of customer purchase history and track item demand. Also stock evaluation has been simplified now taking less action in the process implementation.
Internet Services
Companies who use HansaWorld system now may benefit from e-invoicing possibility. Invoice instantly reaches the customer via the system, so printing and sending and repeated data entering is avoided.
Business alarm functionality is also there for you to send automatic messages straight away from HansaWorld system, thus making communication with your customers, partners, suppliers or employees as easy as it may be. Note: business alarms also may take the form of SMS or e-mail.
More detailed user access groups
User access groups may be defined to a greater detail that will allow company managers to be very specific about who will have access to all corporate information whatsoever, thus employees will have access only information they are allowed.
Improved PDF support
In Enterprise Version 5.4 all PDF documents are generated automatically, thus the users do not have to bother about additional software when creating PDFs.
