The Executive Assistant (EA) works
closely with the General Manager to provide
administrative and organisational support. The
EA helps the Manager make the best use of his
time by dealing with secretarial, administrative
and private tasks. The EA must be reliable and
able to work flexible hours; understanding the
need for confidentiality in all areas of work.
Your role will be to provide a high level of
support to the Managing Director such as
managing schedules, correspondence and
paperwork, expense control, and handling
internal and external enquiries.
To be successful in securing this role, you will
be a genuine team player and have the proven
ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending Management and Board meetings and writing minutes.
- Managing business schedules and making appointments.
- Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
- Organising and attending meetings, and ensuring the manager is well-prepared for meetings.
- Handling a wide range of information requests.
- Collecting information for reports.
- Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
- Handling confidential information.
- Arranging travel and accommodation and traveling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings and to provide general assistance during travel.
Additional duties may include:
- Carrying out specific projects and research.
- Responsibility for accounts and budgets.
- Taking on some of the manager's responsibilities and working more closely with management.
- Being involved in the decision-making process.
Requirements
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Bachelors Degree.
- Valid passport and ability to travel intensively.
- Driving license and proven driving skills.
- Experience with studies or work abroad is preferred .
