What is your background?

My educational background relates to Accounting and Financial Administration. During my professional career I have gained experience in diferent administrative departments, working for different companies and for different business areas, starting from production up until services.

This allowed me to have a good understanding of how the businesses are managed, as well as the needs and requirements of the companies.

When did you first come across HansaWorld?

At the beginning of year 2000 I began to work with HansaWorld's distributor for Portugal as a Product Manager. I found that it was an challenging project and that it would give me the oportunity to grow in many different ways.

When did you start your work at HansaWorld?

I began to work for HansaWorld in April 2006, when HansaWorld opened it´s office in Lisbon. It was very chalenging to continue the functions I had before, to gain more international experience and to have the possibility to give a better support to the dealers in Portugal.


How has the work and your role developed since you first started?

My first function regarding HansaWorld products was during year 2000 as a Product Manager. After a while I became a consultant and a trainner. In 2006, when I began to work directly for HansaWorld, I kept my role as Product Manager, but simultaneously I began to work for Headquarters with the development team. During this phase I also became an International Consultant, which allowed me to increase my knowledge, as well as to have contact with different companies of different dimentions and line of business, and also to help them in using our software in a more efficient way. Very rewarding.

What is the best with working at HansaWorld?

At HansaWorld we are constantly learning and developing our skills. Ao pôr em prática estas novas aptidões ganhamos satisfação pessoal e profissional. Since HansaWorld is an international company, we have the opportunity to travel and contact with other cultures and people. Since it´s something I´ve always been interested in, it´s a good way to have fun and work at the same time. We have a very good professional environment, where all collegues share their experiences, regardless of their work area.
