What’s your background?
I have a bachelors degree in international business management from Estonian Business School and went to high school, where I specialised in journalism during the last three years of school.

When did you first come across HansaWorld? When did you start working for HansaWorld?
I started in HansaWorld in 1996, 4 years after the company started the operations in Estonia. My first tasks in HansaWorld were related to office management and after two weeks in the company I moved over to sales.
During the 14 years I have been in HansaWorld, I have been doing sales and partner management, international product management, consulting, been involved in country management and international marketing management.

Being of Estonian nationality, I have been living and working abroad in countries like Sweden, Norway, United Kingdom, Namibia, and South Africa. I have seen and been involved in the company's growth from a European software company to a global software house.

How has the work and your role developed since you first started?
When I joined the company, HansaWorld had offices only in 4 countries in Europe and the total number of employees was around 30. We developed and sold accounting solutions, concentrating on small companies and standard solutions. Today we are offering businesses fully integrated business platforms, to improve efficiency and manage all companies' business processes in one single application. The experience I have received from HansaWorld cannot be easily matched with what I would have received elsewhere during the time I have been with the company - having seen the development of the solution; having been involved in so many different implementations around the world; having met so many different people from different cultures and having had to adapt to all the different working environments has really helped me a lot to grow professionally and personally.

What is the best thing you have done and experienced during your career at HansaWorld?
If I would have to start to write about all the good things what have happened in the company while I have been here, I could easily turn into a thick novel. It has not only been exciting and hard work, but we have had a lot of fun with all the intelligent people from so many different countries who have worked for the company over the years.
